Brush:
Water Useful Diffuse Paper: Default Library, Basic Paper, Default Settings Size: Default size setting for the brush Painted: Freely. An important feature of this brush is that it's Painter 6 like, that is, you can use it to cover darker areas with brighter colors. The light-colored road on the foreground, for example, was painted as an afterthought over the darker green grass background. Have a try! Sample done on a 400 x 300 pixel Canvas, saved as TIFF in Painter 7, then compressed in Adobe Photoshop 6 down to 40 kb. |

Brush Category:
tlb-sw647 Notes: The first two brushes in this set, mimic A and mimic B are as close as Terrie's been able to get to the Painter 6 Water Color's Simple Water brush. Both mimic A and mimic B were used at various points in Terrie's Blondes Have More Fun painting. She adjusted the opacity and brush size while working on the image, but none of the other controls were modified. The drawing brush was used for the Blondes sketch and dry bristle was used in Blondes for the weeds and fence posts on the left side of the painting.
