| This image was the result of an
all-nighter playing with Painter's brushes. Again, it was done with
the Pen brush, Pattern Pen and Soft Edge Pattern Pen
variants, then a variant I created called "dynosnake". In the General
section of the Brush Controls palette, I set Dab Type to
both Rendered and
Projected, depending on the look I wanted.
The brush strokes were done using
some of the many patterns I've created during the past couple of weeks
by using Define Pattern, then painting and applying various Effects,
or Capture Pattern from a selection made on an existing painting.
